The HERON I is a Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) UAV system for Reconnaissance, Surveillance, and Target Acquisition (RSTA). This sytem has seen over 30,000 hours in support RSTA needs for various countries over the last 10+ years. The Heron provides one of the longest endurances of a MALE UAV and has had an impeccable service record throughout history. The low acquisition cost, low operating cost, use of SatCom for BLOS operations, and ease of use make it an excellent platform to support defenses and borer protection. It is the only operational maritime patrol platform in use by several countries.
